n Greece, 10,000,000 sheep are declared annually, from which approximately 8,500 tonnes of raw wool are produced.
Today, Greek wool is regarded as a by-product. Livestock farmers sell it at derisory prices or are forced to throw it away.
Aegean Wool gives value to what is ignored today. Every kilo of wool processed at our plant provides income for the Greek livestock farmer, creates jobs in the local community, offers natural insulation and reduces our dependence on synthetic materials.
